Cancer “Thriver” Shares her
Story of Healing Stage 3 Cancer without Surgery:
Treatable and Beatable Author Speaking at Upcoming Women’s
Conferences
San Diego, CA (April 3, 2007) – Local
author and award winning international speaker, Carolyn
Gross, will share her Treatable and Beatable mindset when
she speaks about her experience of healing stage three cancer
without any surgery. Considering herself to be a cancer
‘Thriver’ instead of ‘Survivor’,
Carolyn dedicates herself to sharing her message of hope
and healing with others. With the recent cancer recurrence
of Elizabeth Edwards, as well as rocker Sheryl Crow lobbying
for environmental research for breast cancer, people are
looking for new ways to live with cancer and prevent it.
Carolyn’s message is timely and needed.
Ms. Gross will be speaking at the Antelope
Valley Women’s Conference on May 17, where the theme
is “Looking Beyond the Ordinary.” Christiane
Northrup, M.D., best-selling author of Women’s Bodies
Women’s Wisdom and women’s health expert will
be the keynote speaker at the event. Carolyn will also speak
at the Palomar Pomerado Women’s Health Conference
on May 19 at the Rancho Bernardo Inn Conference Center in
San Diego, where Joan Lunden, popular co-host of ABC’s
Good Morning America from 1980 to 1997 will be the keynote
speaker.
Both events will feature Ms. Gross’s
popular program, “Shine or Whine: Managing Chaos with
Confidence” where she discusses how she ‘shined’
in spite of her diagnosis of stage three cancer in 2003.
Her forthcoming book teaches the Treatable and Beatable
mindset so that patients and their caregivers can learn
strategies to help overcome any disease. Rather than succumbing
to the radical surgery recommended by doctors, she claimed
her power and investigated alternative healing methods that
worked. Her research uncovered a cancer vaccine that educated
her own immune system to destroy the tumor. Today Ms. Gross
is cancer-free for four years and dedicated to sharing her
experience and encouraging others to develop the Treatable
and Beatable mindset no matter which treatment options they
choose.
Ms. Gross is also the author of Staying Calm
in the Midst of Chaos, a book that teaches how to rise above
the chaos and thrive in challenging times.
